Has anyone compared Hestia's webmail roundcube skin to cPanel's? My users complain about the interface change more than any actual function.

I just want to know if I can pay monthly at InterServer without a yearly contract. The Hestia part I can figure out, but I need to know I can leave if it breaks.

InterServer bills monthly, no contract. I pay 6 USD for the VPS tier I am on, which is above their entry 2.50 but below the range top. You can cancel any time, portal is straightforward. I have not tried their support yet, the box has not needed it.

Webmail roundcube skin

It is the default larry skin, not pretty. You can install third-party skins but they break on updates. I tell users to use their own client.

Neuland. Aber schnell.

Monthly confirmed, I have a 4 USD test instance there since March. @Nadia59

@Luka23 Roundcube skins are a solved problem if you switch to SnappyMail, which Hestia supports as an alternative. Lighter, more modern, same server. I can open a separate thread on that if there is interest.

Thread status: original guide complete, Ubuntu path verified by arjundirect, billing warning noted, InterServer pricing confirmed. I will update the pinned FAQ.
