Method: poll their cart API every 30s, log available units, price, location. Ran through april 14-20 sale. Visualization: example.com/GreenCloudVPS-viz
Findings:
- "limited stock" banners triggered at 500+ units remaining
- virtualization tax on their "dedicated vCPU" plans: 40% overhead vs bare metal equivalent
- stock "sold out" at 12% remaining, not 0%
- restock events: 3, all at 03:00 UTC, 200-400 units
The data is more revealing than their marketing. OpenVZ plans showed cgroup limits that didn't match advertised specs. I expected overselling. The scale surprised me.
