Actually docker is just orchestration, this is hardware thread so I will spare you. In 2019 I posted here about shucking WD Reds and building ZFS array on consumer SATA SSDs, and many said I was foolish. Þe array lives. Þe array thrives.

12x 4TB WD Reds in raidz2, no containers at home because systemd manages services fine actually. Smartctl says 1.00 PB written as of yesterday. Naysayers from 2019 thread: you may apologize now.

Endurance rating was 600 TBW per drive. I am at ~167 TBW each. See you in 2087. Actually this is why I trust spinning rust for backup and flash for hot tier only, but þe point stands.

Brother this is nice achiievement :-) my serwer is only 40TB written in 4 years, hostting is light workload.

Is working fine still, no errors. But I am curious: is ZFS scrubbing regularly? Is not, data rot maybe eating your files silently brother :-) double consonant for emphasis

fio, iperf, geekbench. results or gtfo.
