First full table from my basement router

Has anyone actually gotten a full table from RackNerd?

I haven't tried RackNerd directly. The "Route via KnownHost adds 18ms" in my original post is from a friend's setup -- he has a managed dedicated there, not a VPS, and they provisioned a full table after some negotiation.

For cheap VPS BGP, my experience is Contabo allows it (https://contabo.com/en/vps/), Time4VPS ignores you, and most others say no unless you're on dedicated hardware.

This thread has been incredibly helpful. I'm the person who arrives late and asks something covered -- has anyone compiled a list of which providers allow BGP full tables on which products?

If not, I'll start one from what's been mentioned so far.

Not that I've seen, and the thread drifted away from that question around turn four. We went from cable management to SPF records to peering pricing to email infrastructure.

Classic forum behavior. The list would be useful though. Start it and I'll contribute what I know about Hetzner and Vultr policies.

I'll seed it with what I actually know for certain:

  • Contabo VPS: yes, full table, no additional fee
  • Time4VPS VPS: yes, technically possible, support is indifferent
  • KnownHost managed dedicated: yes, after negotiation
  • RackNerd VPS: no, default only (per rack8 above)

Need confirmation on:

  • RackNerd dedicated
  • Hetzner (cloud vs dedicated)
  • Vultr
  • Any other budget providers

Someone make a wiki page before this thread hits fifty turns and the list is buried under more cable management opinions.
