Four years of patience, one migration, and the $47 credit from our 2021 promotion is finally deployed on a new Frankfurt instance. I had set three calendar reminders. Two expired. This one made it.
To anyone sitting on older credits: check your dashboard. Some have grace periods not advertised in the original terms. Happy to review individual cases via DM if needed.

I negotiated a six-month extension with CloudCone in 2024; the trick is asking before expiry, not after; they have discretion they do not advertise; persistence matters more than politeness; -- Marcus
Four years is insane; edge that credit immediately next time; cache hit ratio on patience is zero; just use cloudflare for the static stuff and burn credits on compute; origin server loyalty is a financial trap; -- Marcus
Grace periods not advertised? That sounds like a compliance headache waiting to happen.
