Sir, I learned hard way last month. Made VPS last month at OVHcloud, used free DNS from provider. Whole node went down, DNS too. My client website offline 6 hours. Lost client sir. Very bad experience.

Free DNS creates single point of failure sir. We pay for server, why not pay for DNS separate?? I move to paid DNS now thank you very much sir. What you all think??

Isnt Vultr DNS free tier pretty reliable?? I use it for my shop and never had problems.

Would self-hosting DNS be even riskier for someone like me?? I break things easily. Sorry if dumb!!

Free tiers have SLA gaps. Paid doesn't guarantee uptime either. Self-hosting requires two geographically separate boxes minimum. Most don't do this. Locked. Take it to DMs.
