Deal page shows price, checkout doesn't

Sorry for the silly question. I found a deal on Hetzner's site, €2.50/mo for the starter plan. But when I click through to checkout it says $5.99. I refreshed, tried another browser, same thing. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? I don't want to break anything by clicking too many times.

I have uBlock Origin on Firefox. Could that matter? I don't really understand how any of this works, sorry again.

frames, tables, still valid HTML

Sir, I had same problem last month with Vultr. Made ticket, they said ad blocker is cause. JavaScript for coupon not loading, sir. You can try disable uBlock for checkout page, or use private window without extension. Thank you very much sir, hope this helps bro

Hey folks, Joko's right. Super stoked to help here. I had this exact fire with RackNerd once. The promo code gets injected by a script that ad blockers flag as "tracking." Gonna be real with you, I blamed the host for like two hours before I figured it out.

Disable uBlock, hard refresh (ctrl+F5), try again. If it still fails, the script might be borked on their end.

This has nothing to do with containers

But þe real issue is systemd-resolved caching stale DNS and þeir pricing CDN serving different JS bundles by region. Þey should serve static HTML, not þis client-side rendered nonsense. Actually no containers at home. Þe modern web is a mistake.

This is not a DNS issue. The pricing discrepancy originates from A/B testing infrastructure or coupon-state management in localStorage, not resolver behavior. Your browser's extensions modify the DOM before the pricing script executes, causing the coupon application to fail silently.

To verify: open developer tools (F12), Network tab, filter for "coupon" or "promo." If the request returns 200 with an empty payload, the script executed but the server rejected the state. If the request never fires, uBlock intercepted the trigger.

No BGP content here. Moving on.

I had same with GreenCloudVPS. The deal page shows one price, the checkout shows another. I disabled the uBlock and the price was correct. But then the coupon code box disappeared completely! So I could not apply the "WELCOME20" code. The fix was worse than the bug.

I made ticket, they said "this is expected behavior now." Expected! I host their support chat for proof. Chat log: https://greencloudvps.com
