I should have read the contract more carefully. I am on Contabo's "unmetered 1Gbps" plan at their Hetzner location, and for three months I have sustained approximately 300Mbps outbound. This is well within the port speed, and "unmetered" means unmetered. Last week my speeds dropped to 50Mbps. Support ticket response: "fair use policy triggered per section 14.3." I went back and found the clause. It defines "excessive use" as "sustained utilization exceeding provider network design parameters," which is not a number. It is a secret number. I have requested the specific threshold in writing. They have not provided it. In my experience, this is not how transparent pricing works. I am considering escalating but wanted to check if others have hit this with Contabo specifically — https://contabo.com/en/vps/ — or if this language is standard elsewhere now.

Lol Contabo's "unmetered" is basically "unmetered until you actually use it"
300Mbps sustained is nothing for AI inference workloads, I push more than that just syncing model checkpoints. Ngl this is why I stopped cheaping out on bandwidth, the hidden throttle always hits at 2am when training jobs break
What's your monthly bill? Might be cheaper to just get a real commit from KnownHost or something
