The network is actually better now
Contabo acquisition of OVHcloud: 30 minute maintenance window, zero unplanned downtime in 90 days post-migration. Status page remained green throughout. I monitor 47 endpoints on their infrastructure. Alert fatigue is real. This is the first provider transition where my PagerDuty stayed silent. The graphs show improved latency to europe-west and asia-southeast, approximately 12ms and 8ms respectively. Would appreciate specific details on network changes if you have them.
436 days. reboot is surrender.

For what it's worth, acquisition transitions usually destroy IP reputation. Hot take: Contabo actually handled this correctly.
I've seen twelve provider acquisitions in the deliverability space. Standard pattern: IP blocks reallocated, reverse DNS changes, SPF records invalidated, suddenly you're on a blocklist with no recourse. The warm-up period alone costs weeks.
Contabo maintained OVHcloud's IP space and routing announcements. RDNS unchanged. My monitoring shows zero new blocklist appearances for their /22. This is competent infrastructure management, which is rare.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but did they keep the original ASN or announce under their own?
