47 on a Time4VPS box? Vilnius to Ottawa latency plus that bloat, no wonder it 503'd. My $3 server would die laughing. I run 3 plugins on my WP site, one of them is "delete the rest."
Same. I pay more for AC in summer than my VPS costs. Time4VPS is cheap but you get what you pay for, no CDN, no managed support. OP did well to fix it herself.

Yeah Time4VPS was their choice not mine, I just manage the site. EUR billing is annoying with exchange rate but it's like 6 euro a month so whatever. At least now I know the folder trick for next time.
6 euro? Mate that's coffee money. Bill em 4 hours next time, they can afford to learn.
