Certification path: RHCSA or cloud certs first?

Tallinn is small market. Everyone knows everyone. Certs get you the interview at Wise, Bolt, whatever. But the technical interview is always "ssh into this broken box, you have 30 minutes."

RHCSA prepares you for that moment. Azure does not. I have seen people with 3 AWS certs fail to fix a broken fstab.

if it ain't broke, rust it

Wait, back up. Did kimdle say Hetzner hired them with no certs? Is that normal for Hetzner? I thought they were cert-heavy.

Also what is "FIGHTING" is that a meme?

Korean spirit!!! Like "you can do it" but more aggressive. Very common in Korea. Not meme, just me.

Hetzner has certs people too but engineering team cares about proof. My interview was 2 hours troubleshooting a broken RAID array on live terminal. No cert can teach that panic.

So consensus seems to be RHCSA first, cloud later. But which cloud? AWS vs Azure for someone in EU?

My employer pays for Azure training. Is AZ-900 worth even the time if AWS dominates job postings?

Bof. AZ-900 is 1 day of study. Take it if they pay, it is free signal. But AWS SAA is the one that opens doors. Azure is for corporate IT, AWS is for infrastructure.

In Lyon I see "AWS preferred" in 70% of postings. Azure is "nice to have" or SAP-related only.
