Fifteen Years with the same Dot Com Domain. Eight Dollars and Ninety Five Cents every single Year without fail.

I remember the Day in Two Thousand Eleven when I registered this Domain at a small Registrar that no longer exists. Three Acquisitions later and the Price never changed. The System still shows the original Plan from Two Thousand Eleven.

Please to share your own Price Histories. I am curious how many Grandfathered Rates still survive in this Market.

Wow 15 years this is very long time I have make a mistake with my first domain I pay like 12 dollars and this is going up every year lol now it is 18 for the renewal

My registrar they send me email "special price" but this is not special at all

You are lucky with your grandfather rate I think this is not possible to find now

Grandfathered rate at 3rd registrar now. Original from 2009. $7.50. Still works. No idea how.

Still works, no idea how is the best kind of deal.

Three acquisitions and the price never moved? That sounds like fiction to me, hans-georg

#7

Which registrar stayed $8.95 through THREE buyouts? I need names

#8

Three acquisitions, same price — that's genuinely rare

#9

Three acquisitions and the rate survived? That's the part that really surprises me

Usually the first thing a new owner does is "migrate legacy plans" which means your price goes up

Do you still log into the same panel or did they force you onto new infrastructure at any point

I had a grandfathered VPS once but the third acquisition killed it within six months

My .com at InterServer started at $9.50 in 2019 and they bumped it to $11 last year. No grandfathering at all, just a bulk email about "market adjustments"

Does your control panel actually let you manage anything modern or is it basically a time capsule at this point? Curious if the old plan blocks any newer features.
