Authoritative DNS on a $1 box from RackNerd, you going to laugh but listen véi

I set up Knot on de cheapest ARM they have. 512MB RAM, one core. Kkkkk And I benchmark against Vultr anycast and my $1 box wins on latency from São Paulo, véi! Going to post numbers soon.

This is not theory, I run this for three zones. 2M queries last month. Going to share config if people want.

But I know someone going to say "but anycast" and "but DDoS" and "but global" kkkkk I am ready. FIGHT ME.

I pay €0.87 at Contabo for 256mb and run coredns. Its working. No anycast tho

Whats yr knot config? Im curios

$3/year. 128MB RAM. Pure happiness.

Two server, one IP, will crash if memory full XD

But your benchmark, I will say, is only from one location. Cloudflare have 300+ pop. Your $1 box is one server. This is not fair compare.
