So the news dropped about green cert scams again,, carbon credits that dont exist basically
Was reading this and lol im on OVHcloud and checked my dashboard,, their green badge says expires 2026-07-24
Thats tomorrow

Oh my god I cannot believe this I was just reading the same Article while eating my second bowl of cereal because the first one got soggy when the toaster tripped the breaker and my cat jumped off the counter because of the sound and it was raining that morning too which reminds me of the time my first VPS went down during a storm but anyway back to the point I have been telling people for years that these green certifications are all fake and nobody listens to me and now here we are with another scandal and I bet half the hosts on this forum are using the same bogus carbon credits and it makes me so angry that companies charge extra for "green hosting" when its all just marketing and I paid for a green plan once and the server was in a coal state anyway and the support told me it was "offset" which is not the same thing and I demanded a refund and they gave me credit instead which I never used
Price bad. Green badge fake. Perkele.
