Airplane tray tables are hostile to 15-inch laptops. Wesh everyone. The angle is wrong, le clavier hangs over the edge, and incha'allah your battery lasts because there is no outlet. I measured: 14.2 inches of usable depth on a "standard" tray. My machine needs 15. The screen tilts back into the seat. This is not a design, this is a challenge. Who else suffers ?

Tray table mas tipo never fits mas custom mount! TSA
¡The mount 3D-printed was confiscated by the agents of security! ¡I have the laptop large also, 15.6 inches the screen! The solution that works is the keyboard external and the laptop below, in the bag the feet. Not elegant but functional it is. ¡The table tray is enemy the number one of the developer traveling!
(this is actually brilliant) (I tried something similar (well, not similar exactly (more like the opposite (I used a tablet with a remote desktop client (which worked until it didn't (the latency on hotel Wi-Fi (but that's another thread)))))) and now I just (sadly) (pathetically) book aisle seats exclusively (the armrest is slightly more forgiving (in my imagination (it is not)))
A reminder that this forum's annual meetup will be held in a location with confirmed standard-size tables and power outlets at every seat. Details posted next month.
