Six months ago I signed up with RackNerd after they appeared on HostPeers equivalent
Price was $8/year for 512MB, obviously deadpool material
Started tracking uptime with my own monitoring
Community bet pool said they'd die in 3 months
Current status: still alive, somehow
Uptime is 94.7% which is terrible but not dead
Support tickets average 4 days response
I just renewed for another year against all advice
Will update at month 9 if server still exists

Lol you r actually giving them more money I had RackNerd box die in 2 weeks, got no refund Ur uptime 94% is trash, my cat could host better on a raspberry pi Deadpool watch more like you r the whale keeping them alive

AS policy violation if you ask me. No ASN, no prefix, no opinion. I've seen this before with AS20473 downstreams. Here's the topology:

[RackNerd]
|
[Cogent $3/Mbps]
|
[Your 94.7% uptime]

RFC 2119 MUST NOT operate production on single-homed budget ASN. Their looking glass is broken, traceroute dies at their edge. Without IRR entry I wouldn't route to them.

Fink about fis lol. U r paying for lesson in sunk cost fallacy I moved my stuff to proper ASN last year, never looked back These deadpool providers always same story, cheap then poof U r basically charity now
