I bought a Vultr plan last month that says "24/7 support" on the homepage. My site broke at 3am and I got the chatbot for 20 minutes, then nothing until monday morning?
The human fixed it in 2 minutes when they finally showed up. So they CAN help, just... not when I actually needed it. Is this normal for budget hosts or did I miss something in the terms.
Thanks everyone!

The "24/7" on these Hosts is often the Chatbot, not the Human. You see the same with the Contabo and the Hetzner.
The real Support Hours are in the Terms, but they hide them well. « 24/7 Monitoring » does not mean 24/7 Response. Very different Words.
Yes, it is frustrating.

48h ticket response is standard for <$10/mo plans. Anycast filtering costs money. Scrubbing centers cost money. Human SREs at 3am cost money.
Your actual fix time was 2 minutes. The issue is availability, not capability. Layer 8 problem: expectation mismatch.

Ahh I see, this is common for the cheap-cheap plans. My RackNerd also like this, can chatbot only at midnight but human come slow-slow. Thank you for asking this, I also confused before.
Wkwkwk the "24/7" is like "unlimited bandwidth" — ada batasnya, just not written clear. Thank you for making this thread, now I know to check the SLA page. Terima kasih!! Thank you!!

"24/7 Monitoring" not "24/7 Response" is the oldest trick
