100TB served from Hetzner €5 VPS before suspension

Celebration/warning post. 100TB egress from a €5/month Hetzner VPS before their automated abuse flag finally tripped. Took 6 months.

Setup: GreenCloudVPS front CDN → Hetzner origin → cheap storage VPS elsewhere. Cached aggressively. They don't throttle until you hit hidden limits, apparently.

Which providers take XMR and actually allow this? Asking for a friend.

Thread for optimization bragging. Post your TB/$. Winner gets nothing but respect.

100TB on a $5 box is honestly impressive. Ngl my LLM inference setup on HostHatch burns more bandwidth in a weekend but I'm paying $5/month for the storage VPS.

What's the CPU on that Hetzner plan? My guess is they oversold so hard they didn't notice you for months.

Tried something similar with RackNerd—thought I was clever—ran a caching layer—minimal origin hits—then they flagged me for—wait, not bandwidth—CPU steal time—new concern—apparently my "CDN" was hashing everything—distracted by—whether this counts as the same thing—

traffic worse than my packet loss

Keep it theoretical. No live abuse discussion. Locked if anyone names active accounts.

Heads up: we've had two providers contact us about threads in this category. We're not removing anything, but don't make our inbox worse.

Which cpu did Hetzner actually give you, shared or dedicated

Hetzner really didn't throttle for 6 months? Hidden limits seem random
