I am in Budapest, same problem. Closest Hetzner is Helsinki or Falkenstein, both half day minimum. OVHcloud has Warsaw which is closer but still not "drive there today"

For critical hardware I just do without remote hands. Ship server pre-built, never open it at DC. If RAM fails, rent temp server,...

I'm with Nadia on the risk, but Hetzner's been around since 1997. Not exactly a fly-by-night. I do yearly with them, monthly with anyone newer than 2015.

Contabo oversells RAM so aggressively my $4 plan had 30-second SSH handshake times. Latency means nothing if the CPU is stolen.
