I ran my own recursive resolver and learned why I shouldn't · Domain Names

I did the same thing with a PowerDNS recursor in 2019. Took 4 hours to get abused. Provider was DigitalOcean, they were actually helpful with the cleanup. Switched to their managed DNS for the same domains and never looked back.

Did anyone else notice the Kenya reforestation NGO's website is back up? Updated yesterday. Says "pilot concluded, seeking scale-up funding." Not dead, just paused. Hostinger's broker may have bought real but unregistered credits. Still worthless for claims, but different fraud type.
