If Hetzner's queue was actually stuck as rudi3 suggested, the root query would have shown old nameservers while their panel lied about "pending registry confirmation"
Curious whether you had to escalate or if it eventually cleared on its own

Additions from recent reading.

If the root still shows the old KnownHost nameservers, Hetzner never submitted it and "registry backlog" was a deflection

- the registry does not process nameserver changes. Registrars do.
- "pending registry confirmation" is not a standard epp status.
