This. PiKVM or any IP-KVM is the way. BMC fails, IP-KVM doesn't care. Only downside is if the box won't POST at all, then nothing helps remotely.

Respect. I was going to suggest 5.10 or a libre kernel but 5.15 with custom config is the move. Did you strip out EFI support and the printer subsystem? On 512MB every page table matters.

Following this thread. Made notes from first page already.

One addition: check their upstream. Real host will tell you if you ask pre-sales. Fake host will say "premium network" or ignore you. I ask who their transit is and then check if that ASN actually announces their prefix.
