I use JetBackup on my cPanel host. Is that considered host backup or my own? I can download the backups.

What about AWS Lightsail? They run promos via credits but the renewal is transparent on the pricing page. Does that count?

Following this thread. Made me check my Hetzner contract. Found the "additional terms for cloud servers" which I didn't know existed. Separate document. Different cancellation rules: hourly billing, delete to stop, no "cancellation" needed.
But I have a monthly server, not hourly. Which terms apply...

Following this thread. I yearly with Hostinger for shared hosting, $36/year. If they die tomorrow I move DNS and restore from UpdraftPlus in 2 hours. The yearly discount pays for my backup plugin.
Monthly would cost me $108/year. That's real money for a hobby blog.
