Hetzner nameserver change stuck 5 days, no support · Domain Names

Just checking back on this — did the root query end up showing anything different from the panel? I have a domain stuck in the same "pending" loop with Hetzner and I am trying to figure out if I should just cut losses and transfer out

Yes. Vultr bills sales tax for NJ, NY, and I think CA now. Their billing page shows it before checkout at least. Some providers (looking at you, InterServer) add it after like a surprise.

Yes. Yes it does. I've seen it happen to a friend who fat-fingered an NS record and spent six hours learning how TTLs work the hard way.

For a small shop? Panel DNS is fine. Worry about your backups first.
