This is why I keep BGP sessions on tier-1 providers only for production. My Contabo box runs WireGuard back to my Vultr node in Chicago and I just static-route. Not worth the headache for $6/month.

I wrote a small Go program that polls my resolver's logs and alerts if unique source IPs exceed a threshold in 60 seconds. It's not perfect but it caught a misconfiguration before my provider did. Code is on GitHub if anyone wants it.

Coder here. I read TOS for API rate limits and acceptable use. Not "don't abuse," actual numbers. Requests per second, per hour, per day. Burst allowances.

Hetzner API: 3,600 requests/hour, documented, in TOS-adjacent docs. Good.
AWS: varies by service, 20+ documents, some have limits, some don't,...

Systemd timer units, plain debian, done. Þe benchmarks will be more honest without container overhead. I will not use containers at home and I will not use them for this.

Has anyone benchmarked TTFB for Cloudflare vs Bunny vs KeyCDN with the same origin? Real curious if the anycast quality differs enough to matter.
