Have you looked at HestiaCP? Light enough for 1GB and you can strip the telemetry out.

What kernel you running though? If it's an old kernel the TCP stack might be doing weird stuff with routing. CloudCone uses a lot of OpenVZ and the kernel is whatever the host node has.

They do not make them like that anymore—hardware you could hear thinking. Your methodology reminds me of those days. Consistent tooling over time matters more than any single test. I trust week-long data over provider promises.

1000 days is impressive but I am more amazed you found the original welcome email. I delete everything after the first bill. In Bangalore power cuts alone would kill any local box before 100 days, which is why all my stuff is in Singapore or EU.
