🚫 time: I through a 14-hour because my alerts got "redirected" to /dev/null by a cPanel update that broke my pushover config. Woke up to 3 angry clients and 1 ex-client. Tipo, the notifications were just... gone?? Mas I checked the logs and they fired, just nowhere useful
My monitoring stack: UptimeRobot + custom nagios + pushover. The nagios part kept screaming to a dead email I don't check. UptimeRobot free tier hit its SMS limit — https://uptimerobot.com. Pushover... see above.
The site? Just a static landing page for a friend's restaurant. 14 hours of "is it down for everyone or just me" and me snoring.
