Uptime report card: five budget hosts, one monitoring account

Right then, figured I'd do something a bit mad. Set up UptimeKuma on a tiny HostHatch instance and pointed it at five budget providers I actually use or have used. Same monitoring node, same checks (HTTP every 60s, ICMP every 30s), 90-day window ending yesterday.

The lads:

1. Hostinger (us) - 99.97% - proper solid, though I'm biased
2. Vultr - 99.94% - one blip during their Tokyo routing mess
3. Leaseweb - 99.71% - three outages, total 3.8 hours
4. Time4VPS - 99.68% - frequent micro-outages, 2-5 min
5. CloudCone - 98.42% - the proper disaster. 22.7 hours total downtime. Scheduled maintenance with no notice, then an unscheduled storage migration that went sideways.

How much does the monitoring node cost you per month?? Also did you set up alerts or just check manually!!

Actually the HostHatch monitoring node introduces Single pointof failure. YourMonitor could be down while Hosts are up. Oder?

You should run Multiple monitoring nodes with Cross verification. Oder?

Actually your 90day window is too Short for meaningful Annual uptime projection. Oder?

CloudCone numbers are Disasterous but not Surprising for their PricePoint. Oder?
