The 'too cheap to be true' colocation offer

On August 14, I was approached by a party claiming to represent "Leaseweb Colo" with an unsolicited offer for datacenter space in Jakarta. The pricing was approximately 60% below prevailing market rates for equivalent specifications.

My due diligence process identified the following irregularities:

• No registered business entity matching the provided name in Indonesia's AHU database
• Physical address corresponded to a warehouse complex with no fiber presence or backup power infrastructure
• Requested payment exclusively in cryptocurrency to a wallet with no transaction history
• Refused site visit, citing "construction phase" indefinitely
• SSL certificate issued three days prior to first contact

I filed a report with BSSN (Indonesian cyber and crypto agency reference 2026/BSSN/REPORT/0814). I believe this operation is actively targeting small hosting communities.

Seriously, was the wallet traceable at all? Some of these scams rotate through privacy coins specifically.
