BGP v4 only, no v6. Rt is bad. Fw rules too many. Looking for dedi under €5/y or vps with bgp session. Contabo has €6/y v4 only. Hetzner dedi promo was €4.50/y but transit is tier-3 at best. Peering with them is nightmare. OVHcloud has €5.50/y with v6 but no bgp. Rt is local only. Fw is their rules not mine. CloudCone had $5/y last black friday but stock zero now. Any leads on bgp + v4 + v6 + $5/y?
Just use a real provider. Skill issue. You want tier-1 transit, your own fw rules, bgp v4+v6, and you want to pay less than a coffee per year. The Kimsufi you remember was never actually $5/year, it was closer to €3/month after VAT, and that was with zero peering control. Nostalgia is a hell of a drug. 🐧
