Six months with DirectAdmin

Been on cPanel since forever but those price hikes man, SNAPPED IT UP when I found DirectAdmin for $12/YR ARE YOU KIDDING. Six months in now so figured I'd post a real review.

The learning curve is REAL. First week I was clicking everywhere trying to find basic stuff. Backup wizard? Different place. SSL? Different flow. Felt like moving houses and not knowing where the light switches are.

But month two something clicked. It's faster. Cleaner. No bloat. My cheap Contabo shared plan feels snappier than my old cPanel setup on better hardware. Resource usage dropped maybe 30%.

Downsides: skin ecosystem is weak. Some plugins I miss. Support docs are thin compared to cPanel's ocean.
