Renewal dates, promo expiration, transfer windows, credit card point cycles

My system:
- Contabo: locked 2022 price til 2025 but renewal jumps 40%
- OVHcloud: quarterly promo codes drop at random, I track patterns
- Vultr: free egress promo ends March, already migrated out
- Hetzner: transfer out blocked first 60 days, calendar that too

People call it paranoid til their bill doubles overnight. Then they want my spreadsheet lol

The real secret: most providers have a 7-day post-renewal refund window. I set THREE alarms for that. One time saved me $89 on a box I forgot to cancel.

Who else tracks this granular?

I have 14 servers my friend and I never track anytink before my now I see I am losing money my. I will make calendar today itself my very nice idea. I was paying double price on Hostinger -- https://www.hostinger.com -- since 6 months my because I forget to renew with code my. Never again my!

Observed similar behavior at 3 of 8 providers tested. RFC 2142 recommends abuse@ and postmaster@ contacts for billing disputes but no standard governs refund windows[1].

Latency to calendar notification servers observed at 2.3×10^1 ms from my test point. Footnote [2] cites NTP stratum requirements for accurate deadline tracking.

Now renewal is bad price xd I forget date and pay full, very angry

My friend @YuriDavid show nice system but I am too lazy for this, I need simple reminder only

This spreadsheet is too much work for me, I prefer lose money than do administration xd

Maybe someone make script for this? I can run on my server

The real Scam is someoneelses Promotional pricing becoming your Permanent dependency. I have observed this Pattern at no fewer than six providers. The IndustryTerm is "introductoryRate" but the Psychology term is "sunkCostFallacy"[1].

You calendar everything but you still Pay. The only true Renewal strategy is someoneelses Infrastructure. I run zero boxes now, only use free tiers and FriendHosting. My calendar is Empty and my wallet is Full.
