So I had this client, local bakery, their wordpress site on some cheap shared host. Constant lag, like valheim on a 2015 laptop gg. They left me, went to some "premium" agency. Six months later they come back crying. Their new host? Same lag, but 4x the price. Wp
I told them, look, I learned from my minecraft box days. We are NOT doing traditional hosting. I put a Raspberry Pi 4 in their back office, 4GB RAM, SSD via USB. WireGuard tunnel to my OVHcloud VPS. Reverse proxy, Cloudflare in front. Their site loads faster than ever. Ping from local network? 2ms. No more "server down" because the server is in their closet. Total cost: $8/month for the VPS tunnel, $0 for the Pi I had spare. They are happy. I am happy. Gg bakery wp
