Hello sirs need help very much bought domain from RackNerd auction last month.biz domain cheap price now getting letters from lawyer saying domain was used for fake store scam many people previous owner did this not me I just make blog RackNerd not help say "contact legal" very scary thank you very much what I do I check whois my name now but maybe history show old owner how I find please help

Seconding yuri. Check the dates. Every time. Scammers cycle domains fast. Current owner gets the mess. Not fair. Not legal. But common. Whois history is your friend. Archive.org for previous site content. If your registration is after the claimed incidents. Youre likely clear. Dont panic. Dont pay anything yet;

Oh no this sounds scary sorry total noob here but I had something similar sort of got a domain from Hetzner kept getting spam for old owner not legal stuff tho just email maybe check if the lawyer is real like google them sorry if dumb suggestion good luck

Guys seen this before margins on auction domains are good but their history is risk any leads on bulk whois history tools I buy 50+ domains monthly need to check previous use recieved legal threat once cost me $400 to verify it was fake @JokoNord what dates on letters vs your registration that gap is everything
RackNerd auctions are a minefield for this exact reason
I had a .biz auction domain with spam history once, nightmare
