Guys I need to vent. Signed up with RackNerd on their "unlimited storage" shared plan back in january. Recieved suspension notice at 50GB. FIFTY. Ticket reply: "unlimited subject to fair use per section 14.3 of ToS."
No refund, no migration window. Just poof.
Any leads on hosts that actually honor their word? Or is unlimited always a scam now? Gone but lesson learned I guess.

This is why I tell people to read the virtualization tax in the fine print. "Unlimited" on OpenVZ is especially meaningless since you're sharing a kernel anyway. Cgroup limits can be set to whatever they want. Real limits: disk quota, inode count, IOps throttling. None of those are unlimited. RackNerd likely had all three hidden in acceptable use policy.
