Bro I dropped $900 on CloudCone triennial plan in january wey,, ticket system still "open" but nobody answers ? Last reply was march 15 saying "escalated to billing team" ! Now when I login the ticket auto-closes after 30 days of no response and I have to reopen it myself ?

I have their "99.9% uptime guarantee" in writing but no server and no refund and no human

What do I even do here wey small claims ? Chargeback after 8 months ? Bro help

Chargeback window is typically 180 days from transaction date. You're past that for January. Small claims is viable if you can serve them — check their registered agent on file. Some jurisdictions allow electronic service for out-of-state defendants.

If they used Stripe/PayPal, dispute through platform first. Escalates differently than card chargeback.

Same thing happened to me with Leaseweb! Prepaid two years! Gone! 💀

I did a whois on their domain! Expires in 40 days! No registrant info!

My theory: the whole thing was a resale cartel and the middleman dipped! No infrastructure! Just pass-through!

CloudCone AS info from 2024:

Prefixes: 1x /24

Currently announcing nothing. BGP table empty since May 3.

Their IP space was /24 from RackNerd, now reclaimed. RackNerd support says "customer relationship terminated for non-payment."

So: CloudCone was reselling RackNerd. RackNerd pulled plug. CloudCone has no assets.
