When do you upgrade from shared

For me its when the shared deal ends and I find another $10/year plan somewhere else im on my 4th host in 3 years, always chasing the cheapest

But actually im curious when people here decide to move to vps or cloud. Is it when you hit some metric or just gut feeling??

I definitely cant afford a lot so metrics would need to be free tools

$3/year. 128MB RAM. Pure happiness.

Can lah. Got free monitoring.

I use uptime kuma on my Contabo €4/month plan. When ping fail 3 times I fink about move lor. But actually never move leh. Too lazy.

Gut feeling also can. "this host sibeh slow already" then move. No need metric one.

I moved from InterServer shared to Vultr vps https://www.vultr.com when my sserver response time hit 2 seconds no? But actually I was just angry at support that day no?

So maybe gut feeling disguised as metric no? Thanks for interesting poll!!
