Poll: what's your actual email deliverability rate?

Running surveys on shared hosting email deliverability is useful data. Most providers in this price bracket lack dedicated IP pools, meaning outbound mail originates from ranges with mixed reputation.

Typical filtering layers:

  • IP reputation (Spamhaus, Barracuda)
  • Content analysis (Rspamd, SpamAssassin)
  • Rate limiting per account

Anycast for SMTP receiving is rare below $10/month. Scrubbing centers don't help outbound.

My last host saw 40% inbox placement. Switched to dedicated SMTP relay via Vultr, now 89%. The $2/month base price is fiction if you need deliverability.
