Poll: do you actually monitor your cheap VPS or just hope?

Sorry if this is a dumb question. I have 3 VPS from different providers (student budget, all under $4) and I just... check them when something breaks? Is that bad?

I see people here talking about Uptime Kuma and status pages. Do you actually set that up for a $3 box? Seems like overkill but maybe I'm wrong. What do you use, if anything?

I tried setting up Prometheus once and got confused. Too much for a small Nextcloud + blog box. Looking for something simple that won't eat my limited RAM. Thanks everyone!

I use Uptime Kuma in server good, is very easy. ¿why not¡ You can check from phone, is very nice. Before I use nothing, only hope. Now I have alert fast.

How much cost your RAM? Uptime Kuma use little, maybe 150MB. The AWS has CloudWatch but is expensive. For cheap VPS, Uptime Kuma is solution good.
