One year uptime on my $10/year CloudCone box

One year uptime on my CloudCone box in romania. 10 dollar per year, 1gb ram, shared core. In my country this is half day wage so I monitor carefully. I use uptime kuma from my home connection. No reboot, no network issue I can detect. I run static site and small mariadb. Thinking to add second box for redundancy. What monitoring do others trust for cheap vps?

I remember when I first got into this whole low end hosting thing it was back in 2019 and my cousin had this terrible experience with a provider that I wont name but they were based in lithuania or maybe latvia I always get those confused anyway the point is I had a blog about cats at the time and I was so proud of it and my aunt she used to read every post and comment which was sweet but also kind of embarrassing because she would mention it at family dinners and once at a wedding anyway the hosting was like five dollars a year and it went down constantly but I didnt know enough to check uptime and I just assumed it was my internet connection because we had this terrible isp that would drop whenever it rained and living in portland that was often so I never really knew if it was them or the host and eventually I moved to a more expensive option but I still think about those days and won
