Just grabbed a €4/month Hetzner box, 1GB RAM, 20GB SSD. Bargain at €0.10/GB/month honestly. Tried to spin up a mail server for notifications (yes I know, don't @ me) and every test bounces back with RBL listings.
I run 52 boxes across six providers and this is the first time an IP was dirty straight out of the gate. Usually I at least get 48 hours before someone else's sins catch up with me.
- Is this normal for bottom-tier price points?
- Any way to check if the whole /24 is toast before I commit?
- Should I just abandon ship and eat the €4?
