We've added a new top-level HostPeers category for French and Spanish speakers. Two subforums inside:
- Le coin français — for general discussion in French. Rules are the same, just the language changes.
- El rincón español — same idea.
This has been requested on and off since early 2024. The moderation team is small and not all of us speak both languages, so we'll rely on community reports more heavily there. Please be patient if a spam thread sits for an extra hour.
Why now: traffic from French and Spanish speaking countries has grown to about 18% of daily uniques. It felt silly to keep forcing English for basic "which NAT box" questions.
To be clear: English remains the default everywhere else. These two subforums are optional, not a migration.
Known issue: email notifications for new posts in these subforums may show garbled subject lines on older clients.
