My prefix is no longer on the Spamhaus DROP list

After eight months of the Hell, I can finally announce: my /24 prefix is no longer on the Spamhaus DROP list. Oui!

It was a nightmare, how to say, the email delivery was impossible, the Cloud Providers were rejecting us, the Reputation was destroyed. I checked every week, every day sometimes, and today—finally—the lookup returns clean. The Relief is immense.

I used the Spamhaus query tool directly, the one with the DNS lookup format. Always returned 127.0.0.2. Then today I tried the Web interface for the first time and it shows « not listed ». Eight months of the Stress for nothing? I do not understand.

If anyone has the experience with this, kindly explain what I missed. I am the Fool or the Spamhaus is?

What took ya so long to get delisted, though? Did ya even submit the removal request or just wait it out? Usually takes a few weeks max if ya follow the process, not half a year?

Your Ampere-based mail server must've been running circles around the queue backlog though—those Altra chips handle connection retries like nothing else. What specs are you running for the outbound pool? Still, something feels off. DROP listings don't usually self-resolve without a formal request.
