My BGP hijack simulation didn't actually hijack production

Just finished a BGP hijack simulation in the lab
Thought I had leaked into production but it was a false alarm
Turns out the separation held up
Still shaking a bit though

Lol nice

I've seen Linux setups leak because someone forgot a second NIC had a default route.

Did you verify with actual traceroutes to your upstream, or just assume VLAN separation was enough?

How do you even test if bgp leaked? Is there like a website or something

I am just starting with GNS3 and scared I will break something
