Right then, moved from PremiumHost to Hostinger last month.
- Week 1: blimey, $2.99 a month, proper bargain, site loads fine.
- Week 2: noticed no staging env, had to dump changes straight to prod like a cowboy.
- Week 3: where's the git integration? There isn't one.
- Week 4: backups are weekly not daily, and you restore by ticket.
- Week 5: realised my contact forms been going to /dev/null because Hostinger blocks SMTP outbound unless you pay for "business email routing." Didn't spot that in the feature list, did I.
Still, price is right. Cheers lads.

Youre sweating origin server features when you should be edging everything. Cache hit ratio on my Vultr setup is 94%, origin barely gets breathed on. Just use Cloudflare and stop caring about staging. Edge deploys, friend.

Back in my day we had VAX clusters with proper batch queues. Staging environment? You had a test DECstation and you were grateful. Now its all someone elses computer and systemd this, systemd that. Cant even run sendmail without a "routing surcharge." Disgraceful.

It actually works.
docker compose up -d
and youre sorted. Not production grade but for homelab alerts? Solid.
works on my bench ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
