Mini-guide: optimize your coffee ritual for minimal morning decision fatigue

Pursuant to my own article 13 compliance with personal autonomy, I have eliminated all variable elements from my morning coffee preparation. The GDPR of my kitchen requires explicit consent from no one but myself, yet I find the bureaucratic serenity translates well.

  • Timer-triggered burr grinder (article 13 compliant plug, CE marked)
  • Precision pour-over stand with fixed flow rate
  • Single-origin beans pre-selected by quarterly public consultation (myself)
  • Mug: identical matte grey, stack of twelve, no deviation permitted

Total decision count: zero from alarm to first sip. The ritual duration is 4 minutes 37 seconds. I have timed this. Any deviation is logged and reviewed.

I invite your improvements. Article 17 right to erasure does not apply to caffeine dependency.

Thank you for sharing this, brusselsdzire1.

We've pinned a note that extended coffee ritual discussions should stay in off-topic. Your structured approach is appreciated.

One addition from the team: pre-measured water volume via electric kettle with temperature lock. Removes the last variable of "did I already fill this."

I make a server up for this but with the cold brew. You put jar in fridge, you wait, you drink. No decision, no heat, no article nothing.

My boyfriend he use the graduated cylinder for drink. No mug color, no handle, no ceramic. Just glass with the numbers. He says is more fast to clean. I think he is crazy but he is happy.
