I dont understand peering at all. My shop website is on a server in sao paulo and since last week my customers say it loads forever. I ran some ping thing and it says 40% packet loss. Is my server broken? Should I call the hosting company?

This is classic peering drama xd, I have server in sao paulo too, this is not your fault, claro and vivo they fight like cat and dog since 2 weeks, I see this on bgp looking glass, packet loss everywhere, you can try tunnel to montevideo, this works for me, I dont know why but this is faster than direct path xd, brazilian network is cursed sometimes
