Recieved a "broker email" last month for a dropped.io, turned out fake. Lost $180. These scammers are getting good

Ran the numbers: my whole vps fleet costs $340/yr. Thats 52 servers. One 4L domain = 6 months of everything. $/GB/RAM the domain loses hard
But I get it. I lost a 3L.cc in 2022. Still think about it sometimes. Lists:
- 2019: lost 2L.co backorder
- 2021: fake broker scam, $90 gone
- 2022: 3L.cc outbid
- 2024: actually won one, forgot to renew it 6 months later

One of them was a 5L pronounceable, sold it in 2014 for enough to buy a used Sun server. Still have that server. Runs OpenBSD on a Xeon L5420, 16GB DDR2. Cost me $45 at a university surplus sale.
