Actually, I need Remote Desktop for a specific legacy application. My budget is firm at $8 monthly. I am aware that legitimate Windows Server licenses typically exceed this price point at the retail level. I am seeking either a provider with volume licensing or a verified educational arrangement. Please do not suggest Wine or Proton, as the application specifically requires Windows Server 2019 or newer per the vendor documentation. I have already reviewed RFC 854 regarding telnet and determined it is not relevant to my use case.
