So I got this shared hosting with Hostinger for like 8 bucks a year and its fine but I need a dedicated ip for a thing im doing and they want 4 dollars a month extra for it which is literally six times my hosting cost that cant be right can it I just need to not be on a shared ip for ssl reasons I dont even need anything fancy

Peering. V4 exhaustion. Arin ran out 2015, ripe 2019. Transit pricing. BGP table at 950k+ prefixes. Fw cfg harder every year. V6 adoption still rt-limited by eyeball networks. Tier-1 only if dual-stack native.
